DIY Candy Corn Sweetness

Looking to add some sweetness to your fall decor? I made the cutest little candy corn set for mine! This it literally so simple to make and with just a few supplies.

DIY Candy Corn Supplies
- Floral Foam Cone Shape (Dollar Tree)
- Yarn in Yellow, Orange & White (Popshelf or any craft store)
- Hot Glue
- Raffia, Ribbon of your choice, jute
- Magnolia Stencil (Sweet) Here is the link for the exact one I used: https://shop.magnoliadesignco.com/#/shop/detail/ST-FALLMINIS2022/from/166201
- Magnolia Chalk Paste https://shop.magnoliadesignco.com/#/shop/detail/C-MUSTARDSEED/from/166201
- Button of your choice
- White Wood Tag (Wal-mart in the Christmas Wrapping Section)
- Mod Podge
- Paper (Hobby Lobby)
- Muslin Material

Begin by placing a bead of hot glue at the top of the cone. Begin wrapping the white yarn three quarters of the way down. Cut the white yarn and place a bead of hot glue. Begin with the yellow yarn and go another quarter of the way down. Repeat with bead of hot glue and begin with the orange yarn. Once at the bottom of the cone place hot glue all the way around the bottom and attach the last row of yarn. That is it!!

These tags are found in the Christmas gift wrapping section at Walmart. Grab these and stash them back to use for crafting all year long. Trace the paper on to the tag and cut out. Use Mod Podge to attach the paper to the tag.
Once this is dry trace the tag for a second time on to a piece of muslin fabric. Cut smaller than the tag. Pull some of the fabric strings to fray the muslin.

The Sweet wording is from a Magnolia Design Co stencil. These stencils are amazing. They are washable and re-useable! Here is my direct link for it. https://shop.magnoliadesignco.com/#/shop/detail/ST-FALLMINIS2022/from/166201
These stencils are drop shipped directly to your door. You will love them once you try them. Hot glue your tag to the top of one of the candy corn.
The raffia that I used came from Hobby Lobby. The orange and white checkered ribbon came from Dollar General. Cut ribbon in 4 inch strips (I used 2 strips of orange ribbon and 2 strips of burlap ribbon). I also used several strands of raffia. This is your preference of how full you want your bow. Tie the center of the bow with twine and hot glue over the top of the tag.
That is it! How sweet did these come out? This craft is so easy and a great craft for kids too! Feel free to message with questions!

Blessings to you and yours!
