DIY Wood Box Spring Flower Arrangement

Ya’ll I have said it before but its so worth saying again, don’t skip the clearance isles at your home decor stores! This adorable wood box retailed for 29.99 at Hobby Lobby but was on the clearance isle for 7.99. That’s almost 75% off! It already had the wood beads on the sides too!
I knew that I wanted to make a spring flower arrangement and this was perfect to do just that. Here are the supplies that I used:
Wood box (or any container that you like)
2 Styrofoam flower blocks (I could not find a long one)
1 Bunch of lavender (7.99 with 40% off at Hobby Lobby)
1 Bunch of baby breaths (Walmart)
6 Bunches of lambs ear (Walmart)
1 package of rope (Dollar Tree)
Hot glue gun
Wire Clippers
Moss is optional (I did not use it in this flower arrangement)
That is it!

Begin by unwrapping the foam and use hot glue gun to glue to inside of box. Use wire clippers and clip the tallest lavender from the bunch. Hot glue to foam in the center of the box. Clip all other lavender pieces from the bunch. Make sure that you clip at the lowest point possible. You will repeat this process with the baby breaths and lambs ear.

Once all flower bunches have been cut, begin hot gluing the lavender pieces, alternate placing them in left and right. You will need to trim your stems so that your highest point is in the middle and lower going towards the sides of the box. Repeat this with the lambs ear filling in the holes left between the lavender. Once all of the lavender and lambs ear are in place then fill in the remaining holes with baby breaths.
Once finished, fluff the flowers to make sure all holes are filled in.

The last step is to add the rope around the bottom of the box. Use hot glue to add and cut to fit. That’s is it. You can do this!
