DIY Canvas Window

Do you love to decorate with windows but want a lighter alternative? This adorable window is so easy to make and just a few supplies. Let’s get started!!

Depending on what size you want your window will determine what size canvas to use. I used 4 ~ 8×10 canvases from the Dollar Tree.
Strip the canvas off of the frame and save for another craft project.

Next I used Waverly Antique Wax to stain the wood frames. Wipe off any excess stain and Let dry.

Next I dry brushed white chalk paint from Folk Art. This is done by wiping your brush on a paper towel after dipping into paint. This will allow the stain to show through the paint.

Time to get creative!! I chose greenery to use in the center of the wreath. There are so many options and colors. This would also be adorable using Christmas wreaths for the holiday season.
Next step~ hot glue the frames together. To hang the frame, use a piece of twine or wire and hot glue it to the back of the frame.

That is it! I love how the stain shows through the paint, Don’t you? This is such an easy project. I hope that you enjoy making one of your own!
